Merry Meet. My name is Zoey Redbird and here is the rundown...
We all know they're real, you know who I am talking about… vampyres. They're practically everywhere even in modern day society. They are great musicians like Paramore, Within Temptations, Kenny Chesney. Oh, and of course actors like Kevin Bacon and Deborah Ann Woll. Hell, they even have their own schools, you know, the House of Night. Now, of course, some people say vampyres are cool. But there is a religion called the People of Faith and they're mostly old school Christians that search for any reason to hate. It's pretty 50/50 on who hates and likes vampyres in the human world though...
The People of Faith are really slamming down on vampyres. Calling them Demons, Soulless monsters and an abomination… People of the year? I think not.
Vampyres just ignore the hate, they are focused on educating their young. The young (teenagers) are known as 'fledglings'. They teach the fledglings how to fit into the world and teach them about their goddess named Nyx. In Chicago’s House of Night, the local High Priestess’s name is Estelle Josephine. I heard she is a great high priestess.
Something is going on... Besides these new red vampyres Nyx has made this other type of speices. They call themselves werecats! They started coming into the House of Night schools not long after the red vampyres. They say they are protectors of the vampyres and that Nyx created them to protect. I've found out from many sources that they are 'drawn' to a certin vampyre to protect them.... like a Warrior protects his High Priestess. It's weird because the normal 'house' cats in the House of Night pick a vampyre to be with until the end of time. Cats have allied themselves with Nyx since the beginning of time it's not wonder she made these protecters as werecats. Oh, and there's three types of werecats loins, tigers, and leopards! They are Marked the same as vampyres but with a gold moon instead of red or blue. It'll be interesting to see how these new people and the red vampyres fit in.
But hey, I'm just a new High Priestess giving others some information. I don't even live anywhere near Chicago House of Night! I'm not even sure who will read this. But for those who do read it- Blessed Be.

RULES
WHAT WE ARE:
We are a world where vampyres exist. Humans and vampyres have been living civilly together for many many years. There's a goddess named Nyx. She's night personified and the goddess of all beings who chose her... Nyx is mainly the vampyre's and werecat's goddess. She Marks them as hers...as a vampyre or werecat... with a crescent moon tattoo. This crescent moon appears as outline at first. There are boarding schools around the world called House of Night were fledglings attend. Fledglings are newly Marked with the outline tattoo. They go through the Change for four years. During the four years the fledgling's body either rejects the Change resulting in death or accepts it resulting in the Change. If the Change is completed they become adult an vampyre and their outlined moon fills in. Nyx also gives others tattoos around the forehead and sometimes into the cheeks. Each vampyres tattoos are unique and fit them based on personality and their gifts/powers.
WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:
- Activity is not required, but our members chose to be. Even though we are new we have friendly active members who will rp with you.
- We have are intermediate but have beginner and advanced people as well.
- Helpful staff members. We make sure all members feel welcome and make sure things run smoothly.
- There is a place for ALL members. All members can come in with plots with other characters. Students have mentors and Professors mentor students. There a place for plotting. Humans can even play a role. They aren't left out.
Anyone can join! There's a bunch of information threads to read up on species and how things work. It's in a different area than the books and after the plot of the books.
