///Overview\\\
The Daemon Accord is an original-character, original-plot role-playing game that runs in tandem with the television series Person of Interest. Both are based on the existence of a machine that was designed to predict future acts of terror based on a large network of data. The Machine was sold to the government to be used for this purpose. However, the Machine can also detect other crimes, and can pinpoint the victims or perpetrators of these crimes. Considered "irrelevant" by the government, this data was originally deleted daily, until its inventor, Harold Finch, realized the data could be used to stop these crimes, and built a backdoor to save that data.
To help him stop the "irrelevant" crimes, Finch enlisted the aid of John Reese, a former CIA agent. The pair use Finch's technological savvy and Reese's physical prowess to find the persons indicated by the Machine. By using high-tech resources to deduce what each person will do ahead of time, they are able to stop the crimes and save lives.
This is where The Daemon Accord comes in.
Our site operates on the premise that the Machine begins identifying more and more victims and suspects, more than Finch and Reese can handle on their own. They recruit Jamison Cavanaugh, a former private investigator, to lead a team who will take on the overflow cases. With access to plenty of equipment and their own pooled skills, the team will track and solve the cases assigned to them, while trying to keep their activities from being investigated by the authorities. They will protect ordinary citizens, who will have no knowledge of their acts, may never even know that their lives were saved.
More information on the TV series is available on the Person of Interest wiki.
