Appearance:
Eslytt is a tall and slender woman with gentle cuves in her frame. Standing at five foot ten inches and weighing a hundred fifty-one pounds, she is remarkably physically fit. Her face is very soft although her dark green eyes have a great depth to them that suggests she has seen a lot in her life time. Her skin complexion is quite fair and light due to her Anglo-Saxon and Celtic ancestry.
Her arms and legs are both slender and she often wears leather gloves, coats, and boots to keep warm in winter. Eslytt's hair is medium length and usually a a light red but she from time to times dyes it so that it turns to a dirty blonde, light brown, or black. She prefers form fitting clothing and light body armor, as is required of her profession. When attending formal events, like balls or opera houses, prefers light and elegant gowns and short heels.
Personality:
Eslytt is a very moral person, often preferring to do the right thing in a situation than turning a blind eye or the best thing for herself. This has lead to Eslytt getting into confrontations with others, such as her superiors in the police department. Eslytt believes that everyone starts out as a good person and that by doing a little good for others will lead them to continue doing good for others as well.
However Eslytt also finds it hard to express her emotions correctly with people, especially those she finds attractive. Not knowing how to interact with others has made her somewhat anti social, preferring to keep quiet or to herself when in social settings. This is quite different to the loud and demonstrative person she can be when in stressful situations, such as pursuit of criminals or when a protection detail turns into a firefight.
Lacking the social skills to acquire many friends, she tends to be loyal to those she has. For them, she is available at any hour of the day and any day of the week. As long as she is not working, she always makes the time to help her friends when they are in need, regardless of how large or small that need is.

History:
Eslytt was the first and only child of her Welsh mother, Arlyn, and English father, Wayne. Arlyn was a librarian and Wayne was an ambassador for the state. Due to his position within the government, Eslytt and her family moved on several occasions as he was given new assignments. Arlyn was able to cope with the moves, as each embassy usually had its own library and she worked there. Eslytt however found it more difficult learning to adjust to the new environments and set of people time and time again.
By the time Wayne was given his permanent assignment in New York, Eslytt was already a young adult at the ripe age of fifteen. Instead of forcing her into America's public education system, Eslytt was taught along with other children of the consulate's staff who chose not to attend public school, by a mentor provided for by the government.
Deciding to forgo college when she "graduated" from her studies, Eslytt surprised her parents by enrolling in one of the states police academies. The six months she spent at the academy where difficult for Eslytt and she often found herself at odds with the instructors due to the methods that they were being taught. Despite this, she managed to graduate in the top half of her class and was hired by one of the departments in Brooklyn.
Eslytt spent eleven years, working first as a patrol unit before working her way up into the major crime unit after four years on the job and impressing her captain with her work ethic even if she occasional ran afoul of the rules. She was happy with her work believing that she was doing what she could to make the streets safer for the people and tourists of the city. However, it all came crashing down when she ruined a case for one of the ADA's when a testimony and confession was thrown out because Eslytt was accused of coercion. It was a false claim but the judge of the case seemed to have a bone to pick with the police department and ruled in favor of nearly every motion the defense made.
After that incident, the ADA, a snobby son of a former mayor by the name of Wash, decided to make Eslytt's life a living hell. She went to her captain about the abuse that was being given to her but her hands were tied due to the political influence. Rather than be subject to the continued abuse, Eslytt handed in her badge and gun and began a career as private security. Given her police training and word of mouth on the streets of her reputation, Eslytt found she was in high demand for the various influential people who visited or called the city home.
Despite feeling she was right in leaving her position as cop, Eslytt is looking for ways to help out the city again. Two years as private security has done wonders for her estate, but little in helping the city beyond those that have hired her for their details. With crime seemingly on the upswing, she wonders if perhaps it is time to take matters into her own hands or maybe return to the police force.
Sample RP:
Eslytt was not happy, she could not find her earrings. The golden hoops complimented her light yellow dress so well and she wanted to look good tonight. This blind date was her chance to get out and just enjoy herself a bit, and the man had agreed to go to a Broadway show with her. It was not often one could find someone who would agree to a blind first date at the opera house and she wondered if maybe this guy could be special.
The previous night had been a blur, what with having to escort some sheik from the UAE around. He spoke English well enough but the way he flaunted his money had really gotten on her nerves. That was one of the downsides about her work, having to deal with people who had too much money.
Work, another reason she really wanted this date to go well, it would take her mind off of it. Too much work lately, as she was literally pouring herself into it thinking it might do some good. Any attack against these businessmen and officials would be bad for the city. The mayor was trying to get tourism back and an assassination would be horrible publicity for the city, and so she offered her services, such as they were.
But there had to be time for her or she would lose herself in the mess of the world. A mess she was going to help clean up, just not tonight. Tonight was a night for a little pleasure and hopefully the start of something new and special. But first, she had to find that darn earring!
